Adena offers breeding incentives

Frank Stronach's Adena Springs stallion operation has announced it will offer incentives to breed to Adena stallions, including 2004 Horse of the Year Ghostzapper, in 2006.

Owners of qualified graded-stakes-performing mares will receive special consideration when nominating to either Ghostzapper or 2004 Epsom Derby winner North Light. And breeders nominating early to 10 other Adena stallions will be eligible for a 20 percent discount on those horses' advertised stud fees, a deal that will apply only until the stallions' books are 75 percent full. The horses' books will be limited to 120 mares each. Stallions available under the program are Gold Case, Golden Missile, Olmodavor, and Touch Gold at Adena Springs Kentucky near Midway, Ky., and Indy King, Macho Uno, Milwaukee Brew, Red Bullet, Running Stag, and Sligo Bay at Adena Springs South in Williston, Fla.
