Added Edge's race days over

Added Edge, a Canadian champion juvenile and two-time Grade 3 winner in the United States, has been retired from racing. His stud plans have not been announced.

Campaigned by Team Valor and Robert Wilson, was named Canada's juvenile champion in 2002 after winning the Swynford and Silver Deputy Stakes in Canada and the Grade 3 Nashua Stakes at Aqueduct. Added Edge, 5, most recently won the Grade 3 Razorback Breeders' Cup Handicap at Oaklawn in March. Trained by Mark Casse, Ralph Nicks, and, most recently, Dale Romans, he retires with a record of 8-2-5 from 19 starts and $552,326 in earnings.

Added Edge is by Smart Strike out of the stakes-winning Mr. Redoy mare Sweet Nostalgia.
