$185 winner keys big payoffs


Payoffs for the 50-cent pick five and 50-cent pick four at Los Alamitos on Sunday were the highest since the track began daytime Thoroughbred racing in 2014.

There was one winning ticket worth $265,806 in the pick five that covered the first five races, and one winning ticket worth $74,003 in the pick four that covered the second through fifth races.

The winners of the first five races were She’s a Ten ($5.60), Fallout ($32), Street Goddess ($26.60), Devils Triangle ($185.80), and Sleepwalker ($12.80). Devils Triangle’s $2 win mutuel was the highest for daytime Thoroughbred racing at the track.

The winning pick five ticket was purchased for $2,520 through TVG and processed through a wagering hub in Oregon, track officials said.
