$125K carryover for Thursday pick six

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - A string of longshots at Hollywood Park on Sunday has led to a carryover of $125,415 for Thursday's program, the next day of live racing.

Hollywood Park's pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m. The pick six sequence includes four races on the main track and two turf races.

The day's feature race is the $70,000 Robert Kerlan Handicap at six furlongs on turf, which has drawn a field of nine. The runners include Get Funky, the defending champion who starts from the rail, and Delta Storm, who has not started since winning an optional claimer over the same course and distance last December.

The pick six races feature three fields of 10 or more entrants - the fourth race, a maiden claimer for California-breds which has 12 entrants; the sixth race, a starter allowance at six furlongs with 10 entrants; and the last race, a $10,500 to $12,500 claimer at six furlongs that has an oversubscribed field of 16. The race will be limited to 14 starters.
