Entertainment and engagement highlight historic program schedule for inaugural Equestricon, just days away

After more than a year of planning and ground-breaking announcements, Equestricon™ will come to life in Saratoga Springs this Sunday. Events are scheduled around the city to kick off the first-ever international horse racing convention, fan festival and trade show, which will largely be held at the Saratoga Springs City Center this Monday and Tuesday, August 14 - 15.

“We’ve put every ounce of ourselves into making this historic convention the most entertaining, engaging and educational program the sport has ever seen,” said Equestricon Co-Founder Justin Nicholson. “We can’t wait to celebrate racing with the fans, bettors and stakeholders who inspired us to launch the convention.”

Featured at Equestricon are more than 80 separate panels, workshops, seminars, autograph signings, networking sessions and other events. Highlighted by its partnership with the TAA, Equestricon has filled the convention with programming that focuses on the importance of aftercare in shaping the conversation about the future of the racing industry. Discussions will cover a range of topics from racing photography, media, and marketing to betting, ownership and breeding.
