DRF.com to host special Penn National Friday Night Racing section throughout July

New York, NY (June 24, 2011) Daily Racing Form announces today a special partnership with Penn National Race Course to bring their popular Friday Night Racing to DRF.com’s online audience of over 1.1 million race fans. Every Friday night during the month of July, DRF.com will feature a special page where Thoroughbred racing fans can watch free live video of Penn National’s entire racecard.

“DRF.com started streaming live races earlier this year and we have found an expansive audience for this new feature. Partnering with Penn National to bring their exciting Friday night race card live to our visitors will provide DRF.com’s audience with a great destination when other tracks are dark” said John Hartig CEO of Daily Racing Form. “The summer months offer a tremendous variety of racing and featuring select tracks’ special offerings will bring new fans to the sport. Penn National’s Friday Night Races are certainly one of these special offerings.”

“We are excited to be partnering with the DRF in bringing Penn National’s lucrative racing program to the DRF online audience,” said Mark Loewe, Vice President of Racing, Penn National. “Penn National has a long history of Friday night racing and with the introduction of a 50 cent Pick 5 with a guaranteed $10,000 pool starting on Friday July 1, we believe the partnership with DRF will be a successful one.”

In addition to the live streaming of the races, DRF.com visitors will find quick links to the exclusive DRF Past Performances, links to selections and stories from DRF’s world class editorial staff. DRF.com visitors will also be able to wager on these races through the DRFBets platform from remote locations.

“Our goal is to deliver the entire package Thoroughbred racing fans need to play the races. Having all the content in one place: Past Performances, editorial insights, live streaming video and a method to wager has excited our online audience and we are confident that this program will introduce a much broader audience to Penn National’s racing,” Hartig continued. “DRF.com is providing a way for racing fans to replicate the live on-track experience when they are unable to be at the track.”
