Daily Racing Form Enters into
Exclusive License of

New York, NY (July 22, 2013) Today, Daily Racing Form established a long-term, exclusive licensing and operating agreement with, the leading thoroughbred racing tournament site where thousands of players compete each year in the quest to be America’s top online public handicapper., founded in 1998, is the longest continuously running online handicapping contest in the United States and one that uniquely showcases horseplayers’ performance on a regularly updated leaderboard.

“We view tournaments as a unique way to connect with horseplayers,” said John Hartig, CEO, Daily Racing Form.  “As title sponsor of the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship since its inception, DRF has been actively engaged in tournaments at the highest level. This is a logical extension of DRF’s portfolio, providing players a way to hone their skills with mythical money on the site, while playing on DRFBets with their real bankroll.”

At, players bet on four races per week, 11 months of the year.  The vast majority of players bet on races at least once a week, and 86% of players consider themselves to be serious racing aficionados.
