DRF Bets: update SSL settings on your computer

Email I use Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and can't sign in to bets.drf.com. What should I do?

DRF Bets Powered by XpressBet uses enhanced security measures to protect its users and their privacy. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 users may be required to update their security settings in order to sign in.

If you are experiencing trouble signing in with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0, follow these steps to make sure you security settings are compatible.

  1. To check which version of Internet Explorer you are currently using, click on the Help menu and select "About Internet Explorer", as displayed in the following image.
  2. Internet Explorer will open a window called "About Internet Explorer" displaying the number of the version you are using, as displayed in the following image.
  1. If you are using Internet Explorer version 6 or version 7, click on the Tools menu and select "Internet Options", as displayed in the following image.
  2. Internet Explorer will open a window called "Internet Options". Select the "Advanced tab, as displayed in the following image.
  3. Scroll down in the "Settings" window.
  4. Ensure that the box next to "Use SLL 2.0" is NOT checked.
  5. Ensure that the box next to "Use SSL 3.0" IS checked.
  6. Ensure that the box next to "Use TLS 1.0" is NOT checked.
  7. Click the "OK" button, close all Internet Explorer windows, reopen Internet Explorer and attempt to sign in again.
