Saratoga: Fast and firm

It's another gorgeous weather day in the Spa City, with ample sunshine, no humidity and an expected high of about 80 degrees.

The main track is fast and the turf courses are firm. The temporary rail has been taken down from the inner course, so the inside paths will have the best (fresh) footing.

The 10-race card on Day #31 features a pick-6 with a $67,794 carryover that gets underway with race 5, post time 3:13 Eastern.

The all-turf late pick-4 is highlighted by the 52nd running of the Grade 2 Bernard Baruch. Get Stormy, who has won six of his last seven starts capped by a wire-to-wire score in the Fourstardave, will be favored over seven rivals in the 1 1/8-mile Baruch as he stretches out past 1 1/16 miles for the first time.
