Saratoga: Catching up

Dubai Dancer (3rd, $8.90), a full sister to '08 Ashland winner Little Belle, and one of eight second-time starters, overpowered favored Arena Elvira coming to midstretch, and was in hand through the late stages to garner her maiden win first time out since January.

Bigshot (4th, $10.60), idle since a runner-up finish May 23, became the latest of several Ken McPeek-trained layoff winners this week. No excuse for favored Touch of Silver, who saved ground on both turns and had a clear shot in the lane.

Changing Skies (5th, $4.50) trailed for the first mile, swung wide and easily outkicked rival 6-5 shot Casablanca Smile in a five-horse renewal of the Waya Stakes at 1 1/2 miles.

Hot Money (6th, $7.10) made the last move to take a hot-paced turf sprint, nailing Strong Impact, who made the second-to-last move.
