Santa Anita: Sunday's changes

There is one key scratch on Sunday's nine-race program, which features a pick six carryover of $104,449.

In the fifth race, Sunny Peace, the 2-1 favorite, is withdrawn because of injury, according to track officials. Her absence leaves a field of seven in the $9,000 to $10,000 claimer over 1 1-16 miles.

Jockey Patrick Valenzuela will not ride because of body soreness from an incident on Saturday when he was unseated at the start of the Sweet Life Stakes.

Valenzuela was booked to ride eight of Sunday's nine races. He has been replaced in the first race by Victor Espinoza on Elusive Moment, in the second race by Rafael Bejarano on Ronin Dax, in the fourth race by Christian Santiago Reyes on Giveme Onereason, in the sixth race by Joe Talamo on Lead Blocker,  in the seventh race by Corey Nakatani on Streakin' Mohican, and in the eighth race by Martin Pedroza on Southern Fireball.

A replacement has not been named for Valenzuela in the third and ninth races.

Valenzuela's mount in the ninth race, Dave's Pacemaker, will race as a gelding for the first time on Sunday. The ninth race is the final leg of a pick six that begins in the fourth race.
