Santa Anita: Sunday scratches


There are three late scratches on Sunday's nine-race program at Santa Anita, which will be run in ideal weather. Temperatures are expected to reach the high 70s, and skies are mostly clear.

In the seventh race, Michael's Rose and Giddyup Gadfly are scratched from an optional claimer over a mile on turf.

In the eighth race, the Grade 2 El Encino Stakes, Life Well Lived will not start.

There is a carryover of $46,071 in the $1 super high five, which is offered on the day's final race.
