Jockey Garrett Gomez rode Candy's Pleasure to a surprise win at 14-1 in Sunday's sixth race, the first upset of the pick six sequence.

Candy's Pleasure ($31.40) was the longest shot in a field of six. Her victory triggered a $1 pick 3 payoff of $358.10 for the first half of the pick six, preceded by wins from Van Brit ($6.40) and River Glow ($9.60) in the first two legs. There have been no winning favorites in the pick six so far.

Candy's Pleasure finished a head in front of Word Association, the 6-5 favorite. Candy's Pleasure, trained by Marcelo Polanco, won a $20,000 claimer on Jan. 1, but was fourth in a $40,000 claimer on Feb. 5. She was entered for a $40,000 claimer in Sunday's sixth race, an optional claimer.
