Santa Anita: This is formful

The pick six has been somewhat easy - so far.

Lutess won Friday's first leg of the pick six, the third race, returning $3.60, which was not much value considering she needed eight races to win for the first time after five runner-up finishes.

In the fourth race, the second leg, Reba Is Tops closed from fourth to win an optional claimer on the hillside turf course by a nose over Linda Lou, returning $3.20. Reba Is Top was eligible to be claimed for $62,500, but there were no takers. The 7-year-old mare has won 13 of 28 starts and $408,729. She won the Raise Your Skirts Stakes at Hollywood Park in November and has wonn 3 of her last 4 starts.

The double between Lutess and Reba Is Tops paid just $6.40. Their wins have kept many pick six tickets alive. The pool on Friday was $124,732.

Linda Lou is entered in Monday's Barretts January Mixed Sale, as Hip No. #37.
