Santa Anita: Cremedelagold overcomes poor start

Cremedelagold broke about three lengths behind a field of maiden claimers in Sunday's fifth race, but recovered to win by a length over Warren's Moon, the 6-5 favorite. Cremedelagold ($8.20) ran 5 1-2 furlongs in 1:04.52 under jockey Felipe Valdez.

A 3-year-old filly, Cremedelagold recovered from the poor start to reach contention in the final furlong and won with a four-wide rally. She was the second non-favorite to win during Sunday's pick six races, which drew a pool of $290,006.
