Oaklawn: Winner a half-sister to Chief of Affairs

Grand Affair, who is a half-sister to quality sprinter Chief of Affairs, recaptured her best form with a front-running win in the second race. It was her first Oaklawn win from two starts at the track. Grand Affair was stepping up to the $7,500 claiming ranks after being haltered for $5,000 last month at Oaklawn.

Chief of Affairs, meanwhile, is to run in the seventh race Saturday at Oaklawn. His longterm objective is the Grade 3, $150,000 Count Fleet Sprint Handicap on April 14.
