Oaklawn: Nice winner for Jones

Keep On Giving was too much horse for a promising field of 3-year-olds in the second race, a first-level allowance at six furlongs. He tracked the leaders then drew off through the stretch, while covering the distance on a fast track in 1:10.78. It was Keep On Giving's first race of the year. He had won a $30,000 maiden claiming sprint by three lengths at Delaware Park in his last start Oct. 2. Terry Thompson rode Keep On Giving, a son of the Forestry stallion Forest Grove who races for his breeder, Brereton Jones.

Brereton Jones and Larry Jones will team together again Monday, in the Grade 3, $250,000 Southwest Stakes with Yankee Passion.
