Oaklawn: Jelly Cable out of Fantasy

Jelly Cable has been scratched from the Grade 2, $300,000 Fantasy, leaving a field of four led by Joyful Victory and Arienza. The other two starters, Holy Heavens and Explosive Disco, will start as a coupled entry.

The Fantasy, a mile and a sixteenth race for 3-year-old fillies, is a key prep for the Kentucky Oaks. In fact, it has produced the last two Oaks winners, Blind Luck and Rachel Alexandra.

The Fantasy is also part of the $2.7 million Racing Festival of the South, when at least one major stakes a day is run over the final week of the meet at Oaklawn. The series concludes with the Grade 1, $1 million Arkansas Derby on April 16.
