Oaklawn: Fastest sprint of meet

EmailMajesticperfection won the ninth race, a first-level allowance at six furlongs, in 1:08.65, which is the fastest time for the distance this meet at Oaklawn. The previous best six-furlong time was the 1:09.40 that Country Day needed to win the $60,000 Hot Springs Stakes on March 20.

Corey Nakatani rode Majesticperfection for trainer Steve Asmussen. The horse was making his first start against winners after taking a maiden special weight at Fair Grounds in his last start Feb. 14. He paid $6.40. Majesticperfection is a 4-year-old by Harlan's Holiday and he races for Padua Stables.
