Oak Tree: Super High 5 carries over


There is a carryover of $26,904 in the 50-cent Super High Five for Thursday's eighth race.

Banana Cream Pie ($3.20) rallied from off the pace to win a maiden claimer ovver 5 1-2 furlongs by 4 3-4 lengths in 1:05.35. The four horses that finished behind him were longshots - runner-up Portland (22-1), who was followed by Stepalize (43-1), One More Palo (70-1), and Hey Sugar Sugar (14-1).

Banana Cream Pie was claimed for $40,000 in a two-way shake by Doug O'Neill.

Thursday's Super High Five is on the final race, a maiden claimer over six furlnogs that drew a field of 12. There is an entry of Happy Hedger and Crafty Hedger, both of whom are trained by Carl O'Callaghan for Patrick Sheehy. The entry is 3-1 on the morning-line, the second choice behind the Bob Baffert-trained Take a Hard Look.
