Oak Tree: Show plunge fails

A massive show plunge in Saturday's first race led to high show payoffs in a $12,500 claimer for non-winnres of two over 1 1-16 miles.

Greely's Ghost, the 2-5 favorite, fought for the early lead and faded to finish last in a field of six. As a result, the show payoffs on the first three finishers were E.P. Bombay ($15.40), High Way Sixty Six ($16.20) and Cookie Rules ($16.40). E.P. Bombay, who fought with Greely's Ghost for the early lead, was $17.20.

Greely's Ghost was claimed in a two-way shake by Steve Knapp for $12,500.
