Oak Tree: Rain leads to scratches

Wet weather on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Los Angeles are has affected Thursday evening's program, leading to no turf racing and several scratches. The first post is 7:05 p.m., Pacific.

In the third race, an allowance over 1 1-4 miles on the main track, there are only four runners after the surface switch and the scratch of Gothic Samurai.

In the fifth race, the second leg of the pick six, Zohrah, the morning-line favorite, is out of a six-furlong turf race for maidens.

In the sixth race, the longshot Spectacular Fun is out of a maiden claimer for 2-year-olds.

The seventh race has been moved from turf to the main track and half of the original six runners are scratched - Dynamic Range, Juniper Pass and Get a Grip. There is win betting among the final three runners - Big Shot Syd, California Soldier and Oak Kye Why.

In the eighth race, a maiden claimer over seven furlongs, the outsider Road to the Throne has been withdrawn.
