Oak Tree: Monday carryover at $82,055

Monday's program at Oak Tree at Hollywood Park features the first pick six carryover of the meeting, $82,055.

Losses by the heavily favored Circa'sgoldengear in the fourth race and Penal in the eighth race were significant factors in the carryover. There was one horse covered in Sunday's pick six in the last race, but the 20-1 shot Irish Torrent only finish seventh. The last race was won by Kicken Off ($21.80), giving jockey Brice Blanc his third win of the day and trainer Jamie Lloyd his second win of the day.

Candy's Affair and East Lake Shore were late scratches after flipping in the paddock and warming up poorly.

Monday's nine-race program begins at 1 p.m. The pick six covers the fourth through ninth races.

There were three early scratches on Sunday morning for Monday's card. In the fifth race, Warrens Wild Thing is out of a maiden claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs. The race still has a field of 13.

In the seventh race, the Grade 3 Morvich Handicap over six furlongs on turf, Tropic Storm will not start. He was unplaced in Saturday's Grade 2 Oak Tree Mile. The Morvich Handicap is led by Scenic Blast and Quick Enough.

In the ninth race, Aragorn Sword will not start in a one-mile maiden race for 2-year-olds on turf.
