Oak Tree: J P Jammer ($25.80) wires field

J P Jammer took the early lead, slowed the pace to a crawl (:49.73 and 1:13.85) and held by a nose in race 5, the second leg of the pick six.

J P Jammer ($25.80) was ridden by Pat Valenzuela in the first-level allowance; he ran a mile on turf in 1:36.78.

The $2 daily double combing the first two winners of the pick six returned $90.20.

Jockey Brice Blanc was unseated after the wire in race 5 when his mount Beachrock broke down. Blanc walked away from the incident; Beachrock was euthanized.
