SEYMOURDINI walloped a field of optional claimers at Laurel last week and appears ready to return to stakes competition for trainer Linda Rice.    The 4-year-old appeared to brush the side of the gate at the start of the one-turn mile test, but recovered quickly and wound up on top as the 6 to 5 favorite under Horatio Karamanos. Seymourdini set fractions of 24.09 and 47.00 while facing only token outside pressure from eventual third-place finisher ANY COURT INASTORM.
