The Triple Crown is the ultimate test of greatness in sports. If I'll Have Another wins the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 9, he will be only the 12th member of an ultra-exclusive club dating back to 1919. Many have failed where I'll Have Another hopes to succeed.

Kentucky Derby-winning trainer Doug O'Neill threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday's Orioles-Yankees game at Camden Yards in Baltimore, one day before post positions are set to be drawn for Saturday's Preakness Stakes. It's fitting that baseball season has begun because the folks at Fair Grounds have decided to play a doubleheader race card on Friday. Due to race day cancellations and a Louisiana state law that says all the purse money for the season must be paid out, Fair Grounds will stage an 18-race card on Friday. That's right. Eighteen.
