Lone Star: Wade off mounts, but OK

Email

Jockey Lindey Wade, who was thrown from his mount, Icelain Diva, when she broke down in midstretch in the $75,000 Cinemine, will be off his mounts for the remainder of the card. Wade told Lone Star officials he would not be riding because of "ringing in his head." Wade was examined at Lone Star's first aid facilities following the accident, and was scheduled to be released by first aid personnel, said Brian Pochman, media relations manager for Lone Star.

Icelain Diva had to be euthanized, according to the stewards at Lone Star.
