Lone Star: Palomino-colored Thoroughbred scratched

Hint of Majic, a rare Palomino-colored Thoroughbred who was to make the second start of his career in Saturday's seventh race at Lone Star Park, has been scratched, according to early changes posted at Equibase. He is the lone scratch on the nine-race card at this point, with the temperture listed at 97 degrees for the program that starts at 1:35 p.m. Central.

Points of interest this afternoon include the career debut of Heckofahit, who is a 2-year-old half-brother to top class sprinter Hollywood Hit. He goes in the fourth race. If Ever, a 3-year-old half-brother to turf sensation Wasted Tears, makes his first start on the grass in the ninth race. The feature Saturday is the fifth, a mile and a sixteenth turf allowance that drew stakes winners Kick On, One Call and J J's Indy.
