Lone Star: Kite Seeker a dual-surface threat

Kite Seeker is officially a dual-surface threat at Lone Star. Last meet, the mare defeated males on more than on occasion on turf in the track's annual distance starter series. Tonight, she mastered the main track.

Kite Seeker ($5.60) outgamed Heather's Fantasy to win a first-level allowance for statebred fillies and mares at a mile. It was her first dirt win at Lone Star from three starts over the local main track. And overall, the score was the second on dirt career-wise for Kite Seeker, who is 6. Chirs Landeros was aboard for trainer Karl Broberg.
