Lone Star: Juveniles on deck

One of the annual highlights of the Lone Star meet is its focus on 2-year-old racing. The upcoming third features a field of seven colts making their debuts, with Valid Hi Teck now the 4-5 favorite after Care to Win opened up as the chalk in large part for his bullet work from the gate here April 16.

Another runner of interest is Bailando, whose sire, Dance Master, gets 19 percent juvenile winners. Meanwhile, Bailando's dam was a winner at 2 and she has produced three juvenile winners.
