Lone Star: Hamilton moves up all-time list

Quincy Hamilton moved into fifth on the list of Lone Star Park's all-time leading riders on Friday night, with his win aboard Badness in the third race. It was his 283rd score at the Grand Prairie, Texas, track, from 1,699 local mounts. Hamilton has a 16 percent win rate at Lone Star, and mount earnings of more than $5 million.

Cliff Berry is the all-time leading rider at Lone Star, with 761 wins from 4,481 local starts. Berry's mounts through the years at Lone Star have earned $14 million. Berry is also the all-time leading rider at Remington Park in Oklahoma City.

Lone Star's second-leading all-time rider is Corey Lanerie, who is now based in Kentucky. He has 476 wins in Grand Prairie, from 2,665 mounts. Eddie Martin Jr., is third on the Lone Star list with 414 wins, while Roman Chapa is fourth, with 312.

Hamilton passed Casey Lambert on Friday.
