The $200,000 Lone Star Derby will be run on turf for the first time when it is renewed Monday, and it drew a competitive field that includes the Bob Baffert-trained Uncle Sam. The $150,000 Dallas Turf Cup features the useful older horses Dean's Kitten, Expansion and Schramsberg.

The stakes action starts in the fourth race Monday, with the running of the Ouija Board. The Lone Star Handicap goes as the ninth, with a scheduled post of 5:19 p.m. Central. First post Monday at 1:35 p.m. Central.
