Lone Star: Double for Durant, Bruner

Tom Durant, the leading owner at Lone Star, and his trainer, Jack Bruner, picked up their second winner of the night in the sixth race, when Street Positioning ($8.80) held off Just Luck to win the one-mile conditioned claimer. Durant and Bruner also took the first race on the card, with Touch Tone Lilly. Both horses were ridden by Chris Landeros, who is the leading rider at Lone Star.

Durant and Bruner will send out the best horse in the barn here Sunday, when Sing Baby Sing, a three-time stakes winner, makes his first start since October in an allowance sprint. Sing Baby Sing was third in the Grade 3 Bold Ruler at Aqueduct in his last start, and back in 2008 accounted for the Grade 3 Phoenix Breeders' Cup.

Bruner, who wins at a well above average rate with his comebackers, on Friday sent out Touch Tone Lilly to win in her first start in October.
