Lone Star: Collier off mounts, tote delay

Jockey Jeremy Collier has been taken to Dallas Methodist Hospital for soreness on the left side of his neck, in his left shoulder and in his upper back after a starting gate mishap, according to Lone Star officials. Collier's mount in the fourth race, Fighting Effort, appeared to flip in the starting gate and was subsequently scratched fro the $7,500 maiden claimer.

Jockey Rita Helton has picked up Collier's scheduled mount in the upcoming sixth race, Red Birds Gitgo.

There is also a current tote delay at Lone Star.
