Lone Star: Big Night for Pish?

Trainer Danny Pish has horses in six of the nine races on the card, and so far has won with his first two starters on the night. Diva d'Oro just took the third race, about 20 minutes after Cinematic Rose rallied to take the first. Filet Gumbo, a Pish charge who was a top contender in the first, was scratched.

Pish is the second-leading trainer at Lone Star. His next starter on the night comes in the fifth race, with High Lake.

It is a wet night at Lone Star, where the main track is sloppy and there is no turf racing. The rain has stopped. In the upcoming fourth race, scratch No. 7, Taste Big. In the fifth, take out No. 5, Strike Force and No. 6, Festive Dancer. In the sixth, scratch No. 9, Lenny's Hold'em, and from the seventh, take out No. 1, Tanalian, No. 5, Royal Stepper, No. 6, Highflyingprinces, No. 9, Lee's Gold M, and No. 10, Love Liberty.

In the eighth race, scratch No. 8, Beta Believe, and No. 8, Sonny's Lil Sis. In the ninth, take out No. 2, First Act, No. 3, Bag Gate, No. 10, I Am Tarzan and No. 11, Mister Fappiano.
