Keeneland: Fri. scratches etc.

Should be another great day here at Keeneland, although it'll be hard to top what Brass Hat did here yesterday. The good ol' 9yo really got the waterworks a-pumpin' when he rallied from last under C.Borel to take the G3 Sycamore . . . lots of folks in the Buff Bradley camp were really overcome with genuine heart-felt emotion, and you really can't blame them, as great as the ole boy has been . . . . absolutely great stuff.

If you see a lot of blue here today, it's because this is See Blue day in honor of the Univ. of Ky school colors. The Wildcats host a 3rd straight night football game tomorrow when they take on Georgia, which usually brings a few thousand racing fans to Kee on Fri and Sat when their Bulldogs come to town.

Lots going on here with workouts and racing . . . going to be a very busy couple of weeks as we make our way to the Nov. 5-6 Breeders' Cup at CD. The Fri. feature is a wide-open Valley View Stakes, which attracted an overflow field of 3yo turf fillies. . . a terrific betting event it is.

More nice weather here today, with mostly sunny skies and temps in the 60s. Fast Poly, firm turf, first post 1:15 ET. We'll check back later in the day, but for now here are the early scratches and changes on the 10-race Friday card:
