Kee: what a crowd

Email

There might be 30,000 jammed into this place on an afternoon when Kee's recently retired P.R. boss Jim Williams said, "I don't remember any better weather for a Blue Grass."

Six of the 11 races now in the books, with Silver Timber ($5) rallying back to overtake Grand Adventure in the final stages of the first of 4 graded stakes, the G3 Shakertown (race 6). J.Leparoux was up for trainer Chad Brown on the NY-bred 7yo.

Looks like Interactif will be a clear-cut fave in the Blue Grass (race 9), at least if the two-day Daily Double starting with the MMMile is any indication. The $1 double ending with Interactif (#9) pays $14.70, while the next cluster of will-pays range from $26 to $36 on 4 other runners.

There are 13 MTP for the G2 Commonwealth S. (race 7), and all 5 of the starters are between 5-2 and 4-1.
