Kee: Sun. scratches, etc.

What a day here yesterday. A ginormous one on at least a couple of levels: Stately Victor ($82.20) romping in the Blue Grass as the longest-priced winner in the 86-year history of the race, and a crowd of 33,727, just a tick off the all-time track mark of 33,821 and a stakes record, so to speak.

The sensational spring weather had to be a major alluring factor in that big crowd yesterday, and we're in for even better weather today, if that's at all possible, with highs in the low- to mid-70s and sunny skies all day. Fast Poly, firm turf.

Just 3 early scratches on the Sun. card, the first one at the meet without a stakes. We go dark Mon and Tues before racing resumes here Wed. Good luck today.
