Kee: Cabin fever be gone; Fri. scratches

Some of us racing enthusiasts might say any day is a good day for horse racing, even if it means hunkering down in the Clarksville (Ind.) OTB to play Beulah Park and other assorted tracks on a gray Tuesday in February.

But really, now, does it get much better than waking up and knowing it's opening day for the spring meet at Keeneland? With that dreadful winter in the rear-view mirror? With temps approaching 80 and brilliant sunshine and green, green everywhere . . . not to mention all the other beautiful scenery that will be out en masse today? With the Kentucky Derby just 29 days away?

Um, we doubt it. It is, indeed, a great day for horse racing.

Got a few scratches today and wanted to get them up before the Kee website had them. Will check in with some later blogs, but for now, have a great opening day, and here we go with the changes:
