Enuff Bull, making his second career start after a troubled debut at Del Mar in August, won a maiden claimer over six furlongs in Friday's fourth race and was claimed for $30,000 by Paul Aguirre in a two-way shake. Enuff Bull ($4.80) ran six furlongs in 1:11.47, and finished three-quarters of a length in front of Solana Soleil. I Feel Free rallied from well of the pace to finish third. Enuff Bull was favored. A 2-year-old gelding by Flashy Bull, Enuff Bull won the first leg of a pick six that drew a modest pool of $113,648.

With 24 minutes to post, Unzip Me is the even-money favorite to win the Grade 3 Sen. Ken Maddy Stakes. She has been the subject of a major show bet, attracting $22,672 of the $23,618 bet to show so far.

Deluxe Bus ($4.60), the half-length winner of Friday's first race of the Autumn meeting, was claimed by Bob Hess, Jr., for $25,000. Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Deluxe Bus rallied wide in the stretch to catch pacesetter Chinese Praise, who was claimed in a three-way shake for $25,000 by Adam Kitchingman. Friday's opening day is the first program of races since the track underwent a renovation in July to reduce clay content and add sand. The surface has been well-received by trainers in recent weeks, and by jockeys who rode the first race.

The opening day of the Santa Anita Autumn meeting is less than two hours away, with weather conditions ideal for the nine-race program. Skies are clear, with temperatures in the high 70s. There are scratches in three of the races. In the first race , Liberal Arts is withdrawn because of sickness, according to track officials. In the second race, Blue Jay Attack is scratched for the same reason. In the sixth race, Woodman's Lass is scratched from the also-eligible list of a one-mile turf race.

Equibase had a reporting error on a scratch in the 6th....the Juvenile Fillies.....the 12, Courtly Flyer will run. # 4 Victorian Diva was scratched, however, after injuring herself in the paddock.

Kentucky Cup Day at Turfway Park....hats off to WinStar for sponsoring and thereby reviving the event. Going into race 5, here are the changes for the remainder of the card. The most notably scratch is Flashie Lassie, the morning-line favorite, from the Kentucky Cup Juvenile Fillies. The other Kentucky Cup Stakes are cler.

Fair Grounds will close out its Quarter Horse meet this afternoon with four stakes races led by the $276,833 Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association Sale Futurity. The track will also be focusing on fan education Saturday.

Champion sprinter Big Drama turned in perhaps his best work yet in preparation for next Saturday's Grade 1 Vosburgh when cruising an easy half mile in :48.18 seconds under jockey Daniel Centeno this morning at Calder. Big Drama was in hand throughout while posting splits of :12.59, :24.57 and :36.30.
