Redeemed ($12.80) closed fast to win the first stakes race of his career Sunday in the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby. The remaining order of finish was Alternation in second, followed by Prayer for Relief, Socialsaul, Infrattini, Behold de Buy, Populist Politics, Malibu Glow, Awesome Bet, Dreaminofthewin, Meistersinger and Wally Van.

Handle on the 11-race Oklahoma Derby card from all sources Sunday was $1,314,578. The Oklahoma Derby is the richest Thoroughbred race of the meet at Remington.

Cherokee Lord is the current 7-5 favorite for the upcoming $125,000 Remington Green, which is the first of two stakes leading up to the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby. Cherokee Lord is getting back on turf, site of all three of his wins, after finishing off the board in last weekend's Grade 2 Hawthorne Gold Cup. Rafael Bejarano has the mount for trainer Charlie Livesay.

Remington: Trujillo on Malibu Glow in Oklahoma Derby

In a rider change for the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby, jockey Elvis Trujillo will be aboard Malibu Glow. Eddie Castro had been named on the horse, who will break from post No. 1. Trujillo is in town to team with Savvy Supreme in the $250,000 Remington Park Oaks. He was aboard the filly last out when she won the Grade 3 Monmouth Park Oaks.

Remington: Workout show, stable tour on Sunday

Remington Park will hold a morning workout and stable tour program on Sunday. It will begin at 8:45 a.m. Central. Chris Kotulak will host the Sunrise at Remington Park program, which will start in the grandstand and proceed to the backside for a stable area tour. Some of the horsemen participating in Sunday afternoon's stakes, which include $400,000 Oklahoma Derby and $250,000 Remington Park Oaks, will participate in Sunrise at Remington.

Chasing a pick six carryover of $86,557, bettors added $440,104 to the pick six pool on Sunday.

Many tickets were still alive after favored Starlight Magic ($4.60) had an ideal trip under jockey Rafael Bejarano to win a maiden race over 6 1-2 furlongs, the fourth race and first leg. Starlight Magic stalked pacesetter Mary Contrary to early stretch before taking the lead, winning by 3 1-4 lengths.

Starlight Magic is trained by Mark Glatt for Cory Wagner.

There is a pick six carryover of $86,557 for Sunday's card.

The pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m.

The only early scratches are in the seventh race. Laura Beasley, Vikkilee, El Nadia and Malusita will not start in a one-mile turf race for $28,000 to $32,000 claimers.

The feature race is the $65,000 Louis Rowan Stakes for fillies and mares over 6 1-2 furlongs. Mildly Offensive (8-5 on the morning-line) and Home Sweet Aspen (9-5) are the leading contenders in a field of six.

El Adelantado, the longest shot in the field, held off a late threat from 5-2 favorite Rauschenberg to win Saturday's fifth race and pay $118 to win. El Adelantado (Kayla Stra) won the first leg of a pick six that drew a somewhat Saturday modest pool of $162,028.

Trained by Leonard Powell, El Adelantado, a 6-year-old gelding, won a $22,500 claimer at Hollywood Park in a 31-1 upset in July and had been fourth and fifth in optional claimers on turf at Hollywood Park and Del Mar following that race.

The Factor faded to finish fourth as the 2-5 favorite in Saturday's Grade 1 Ancient Title Stakes after battling through a wicked speed duel with the 45-1 outsider Sirocco Strike for the first half-mile.

The beneficiary was the closer Amazombie, who rallied from last to win by three-quarters of a length over Irrefutable, finishing six furlongs in 1:08.24. Irrefutable is trained by Bob Baffert, who also trains The Factor.

Martha Claussen, a Q-Racing Ace with the fan education arm of the American Quarter Horse Association, will make an appearance at Lone Star Park on Saturday night. The track has two major stakes on the card, the Grade 1, $414,045 Dash for Cash Futurity and the Grade 2, $153,000 Dash for Cash Derby.

Cayanna ($7.40) held off Evasive Charmer to win the first leg of Friday's pick six, which began with a carryover of more than $42,000.

Bettors did not seem overly enthused by the small carryover, adding just $200,055 to the pool. Cayanna won an optional claimer over about 6 1-2 furlongs on the hillside turf course.

Cayanna (Rafael Bejarano) was the second choice in the betting. Race favorite Thisoneforyou, the 2-1 favorite, finished last and was vanned off. The 4-year-old filly was diagnosed with a soft tissue injury to her right foreleg.

Two Violins, who finished third in the second race, was disqualified and placed seventh for causing interference to Howmuchisit in the stretch of a sprint over 5 1-2 furlongs.

The stewards reviewed video for five minutes before making the decision. Two Violins was cited for dfirted out in the stretch, into the path of Howmuchisit, who was forced to steady.

The first and second-place finishers Charlie and Chris ($6.20) and Clue Me In were not involved in the inquiry.

Clue Me In was claimed for $12,500 by trainer James Kasparoff.

There is a pick six carryover of $42,528 for Friday after the 65-1 shot Warrens Temptation clinched a carryover with an upset in Thursday's sixth race.

Friday's pick six covers the third through eighth races, with double-digit fields throughout the sequence.

There are scratches in the final three legs. In sixth race, there are three scratches - Balladry, Take Control and Jairzihno.

In the seventh race, So Belle is out of a one-mile allowance race on turf.

Thursday's pick six pool was an embarrasingly low $79,611, with only five starters in the first leg, the third race.

The race was won by the outsider Pick and Pray ($13.60) who held off a late threat from 6-5 favorite Ambitoness in the $32,000 claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs.

Ambitoness was claimed by Robertino Diodoro.

In the second leg, the fourth race, Danger Ranger ($5.80), who was sent off favored, rallied wide to win a maiden claimer over seven furlongs.

Thursday's third race at Santa Anita has just five starters after being transferred from the turf to the main track. The track sustained about an inch of rain on Wednesday. All races on Thursday are being run on the main track.

There were six late scratches in the third - Bella Roja, Sister Lucy, Hakuchi, Tribalicious, Bella Swan and Charm the Crowd.

The five remaining runners are Ms Margaritaville, Pick and Pray, Tenacious Tina, Ambitoness and Soul Custody. Tenacious Tina was the 6-5 favorite with 22 minutes to post.

The $2 pick six at Santa Anita on Sunday paid just $283, and jockey Rafael Bejarano had a big role, winning three of those races and four on the day.

Bejarano won the third race on Tiz Flirtatious ($20.80). His first win in the pick six races was Spaniard ($9.40) in the sixth race, the third division. He later won the late double with Weemissfrankie ($5.60) in the Grade 1 Oak Leaf Stakes and Exclamation ($5.60) in the final race.

In the second race, Dres' K is out of a $12,500 claimer over six furlongs.

There are two scratches in the fifth race - Mi Vida and Kilted Tilt.

In the seventh race, Adriatic Moon is scratched from the also-eligible list of a $40,000 claimer on the hillside turf course.

There are two scratches from the Grade 1 Oak Leaf Stakes - Killer Graces and Dreamcaster.

Conditions are ideal, with temperatures in the 80s and clear skies.

The pick six at Santa Anita on Saturday paid $30,126 on a day when the bet attracted a pool of $504,455 in pursuit of a carryover of $60,719 from Friday.

The winners of the pick six races were Zazu ($5.80), Game On Dude ($4.20), Mega Heat ($28.60), Coach Sickie ($14.20), Dubawi Heights ($6.40) and Once In Awhile ($17.40).

The $1 super high five in Saturday's 11th race paid $9,801. The pool reached $156,128 on Saturday, following a carryover of $32,686 from Friday.

Mega Heat ($28.60) rallied wide to win Saturday's eighth race, the first outsider to win a leg of Saturday's lucrative pick six.

Ridden by Joe Talamo, Mega Heat finished a half-length in front of Irish Art in the field of 11. Mr. Make Believe, the even-money favorite, finished ninth, fading from contention in the final furlong.

The pick six drew a pool of $504,455, in pursuit of a carryover of more than $60,000 from Friday's opening day of the Santa Anita Autumn meeting.
