Hollywood: Two late scratches in 5th

The longshots Warren's Mystery and Ballerina Angel were scratched from Friday's fifth race after Warren's Mystery flipped in the starting gate. Ballerina Angel, who was one starting gate stall to the outside of Warren's Mystery, was affected by the incident and was also scratched by track stewards, acting on advice of the track veterinarian.

Warren's Mystery was 65-1, while Ballerina Angel was 16-1 at the time of the incident.

The $8,000 claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs was won by Dish the Dirt, who rallied from last to finish about 1 1-2 lengths in front of Gotham Spirit. Dish the Dirt ($10.80) gave trainer Peter Eurton his second winner of the evening; he won the first race with Holy Flapper.
