Hollywood: Strong return for 'Sarah'

Email

Sarah's Secret remained unbeataen after three starts with a sharp win in a six-furlong allowance race for fillies and mares on turf in Sunday's seventh race.

Ridden by David Flores, Sarah's Secret ($7.20) stalked pacesetter Princelada for the first half-mile, took the lead with a two-wide move in early stretch and won by 1 3-4 lengths over Camille C. Trained by Kathy Walsh, Sarah's Secret was timed in 1:8.44.

The allowance race was Sarah's Secret's first start since last October when she won a first-condition allowance race for 2-year-olds fillies. In her debut, she won a sprint at Del Mar. Walsh elected to give her a break after the October race, which ended on Sunday. Her next start could be in the $100,000 Railbird Stakes here over seven furlongs for 3-year-old fillies on May 21.
