Riding Anne's Inheritance for the first time, jockey Patrick Valenzuela guided the 5-year-old gelding to a slight upset in Monday's fifth race, the first leg of the pick six.

Anne's Inheritance won by three-quarters of a length over 9-1 Point Mugu, with 2-1 favorite Our Senior Moments third in the in the field of 10 maiden claimers. Anne's Inheritance ($16.20) was the fourth choice in the betting.  Trained by Darrell Vienna, Anne's Inheritance was seventh, sixth and fifth twice in her first four starts.

The pick six attracted a pool of $247,898. The fifth race was the final leg of a 50-cent pick five that paid $9,817. The winners of the first four races were Wake Me Now ($11.60), Cadillac Coach ($28.20), Queen Mariles ($5.20), and Boxeur Des Rues ($9.60).
