Hollywood: Pick 6 pays $207,087


The Hollywood Park pick six paid $207,087 on Saturday, a day in which favorites won two of the races, a second choice won a stakes, and outsiders completed the sequence.

The winners of the pick six races were Don Elias M. ($41), Courageous Cat ($4), Memphis ($66.40), Leroy's Dynameaux ($12), Smiling Tiger ($5.40) and Unhitchthetrailor ($6).

Courageous Cat, in the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile, and Unhitchthetrailor, the winner of a maiden race for 2-year-olds statebreds, were favored. Smiling Tiger was the second choice in the Grade 1 Triple Bend Handicap.

Going into the last race, there were three horses that were covered in the pick six - race winner Unhitchthetrailor, Valentine Boy, who finsihed fifth and Huntsville, who finished seventh. Unhitchthetrailor won by three-quarters of a length in 1:04.81, making his third start for trainer Gary Sherlock.

Unhitchthetrailor was ridden by David Flores, his second winner of the day and fifth winner in the last two days.
