Hollywood: Miller claims Bad Boy

Bad Boy, who extended his winning streak to 3 in Sunday's fifth race, was claimed by trainer Peter Miller for $8,000.

Bad Boy ($3.80) overcame a touch of trouble on the turn to rally on the inside through the stretch of the race over 7 1-2 furlongs to win by three-quarters of a length over Streets of Heaven, finishing in 1:30.45. The 6-year-old gelding was ridden by David Flores for trainer Julio Canani.

Bad Boy has won three times since racing resumed at Hollywood Park in late September. During the Oak Tree meeting, he won a $10,000 claimer on Sept. 30 and an $8,000 claimer on Oct. 17.

Self Insured, who finished fourth, was claimed by Jack Carava for $8,000.
