Hollywood: Finally, an upset


Warren's Knockout ($30.40) rallied from last in a field of eight to win the Grey Memo Stakes, an allowance race for statebreds, in Saturday's fifth race. He was the only longshot to win in the first five races, resulting in a 50-cent pick 5 payoff of $205.05.

The first four winners were Averoo ($5.40), Ultra Blend ($3.60), On My Honor ($4), and Amazombie ($4.20). Averoo was the second choice in the betting, the other three were favored.

Warren's Knockout, ridden by Victor Espinoza, had one victory in four starts prior to Saturday's race. He finished seven furlongs in 1:23.63, beating 9-1 Sammy's A Runnin' by a neck. Master Chef, the 8-5 favorite, finished third, a neck in front of 2-1 second choice Liberal Arts, who led briefly in the stretch 

Warren's Knockout won the first leg of a pick six that drew a pool of $188,586. 

There were two late scratches in the fifth race - Irish Coral was declared unsound in the post parade and Bold and Brave flipped behind the gate, according to track stewards.
