Hollywood: Carryovers for Sunday


Courtside Action, the second-longest shot in a field fo 14, pulled a shock upset in Saturday's final race to cause a pick six carryover of $57,067 for Sunday's nine-race program.

Courtside Action ($259.20) turned for home with a two-length lead and held off a threat from 8-5 favorite Battle School. The payoff was the seventh-highest win price in the history of Hollywood Park.

Courtside Action was winless in his first nine career starts. Trained by Rafael DeLeon, he was sixth in a $35,000 claiming race for maidens in his last start on Oct. 15. Saturday, Courtside Action was ridden by Edwin Maldonado.

There is also a carryover in the 50-cent super high five for Sunday's ninth race of $40,441.
