Hollywood: Carryover for Thursday

There is a pick six carryover of $108,788 for Thursday's eight-race program at Hollywood Park.

Going into Sunday's last race, the 3-5 favorite Coal Region Kid was the only horse "covered" in the pick six. He stalked race winner Dancing Joy ($9.20) to early stretch but could not get by, losing by 1 1-2 lengths, and finishing 12 3-4 lengths clear of third-place finisher Sophomoric Venture.

Thursday's pick six features five sprints and one route and fields of 7, 9, 9, 7, 6 and 10.

The feature race is a $70,000 allowance race for fillies and mares over six furlongs on turf that is led by Unzip Me, who was third in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint last fall. Thursday's race is her first start since a second by a neck to Separate Forest in the Grade 3 Las Cienegas Handicap at Santa Anita on April 9.

Separate Forest is part of Thursday's seventh race field, but has lost her two starts - a sixth in the Time to Leave Stakes on May 1 and a second in the Great Lady M Stakes on May 29.
