Gulfstream: What dead rail?

The rail appears to be back to normal after both the incomprable Joey P and improbable Doc Green both came out of the one hole and raced inside to victories in the fith and sixth races.

Joey P. set the pace then reasserted himself after relinquishing the advantage to the 2-1 Safe Trip to register a game victory under second level optional claiming and allowance conditions, completing six furlongs in 1:09.43 for the 18th victory of his amazing career.

Doc Green could not keep up with the early speed, saved ground into the stretch then tipped out in the two path to run down pace setter Forward Observer to win the seventh at a whopping 70-1!   He was the second major longshot to impact today's results and set up huge exotic payoffs along with the 99-1 Ace Pilot who finished second in the 3rd race.
